The short version: we collect what you give us to answer your request and fill your order. We don't sell it. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. No mobile information will be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

1. Who this covers

This policy explains how EG Solar, LLC ("EG Solar", "we") handles personal information collected through egsolar.app, by phone, text and email, and when you buy from us.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Contact details: name, email, phone number, ZIP code, and delivery or installation address.
Request details: the products you're interested in, your timeline, what you want to power, and End Game Planner results you choose to send.
Order details: products purchased, delivery information and communications with us. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
Your text message consent choice, with the exact consent wording and the time you gave it.

Information collected automatically

When you submit a form, we record your IP address, approximate country, and browser type, to prevent spam and abuse.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.
The End Game Planner runs in your browser. Your selections stay on your device, stored only for your current browser session, unless you send them to us with a quote request.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

3. How we use information

To answer your request, prepare quotes, and process, ship and support your order.
To coordinate installation with a contractor you choose to work with, when you ask us to.
To help with returns and manufacturer warranty claims.
To send order and quote text messages if you opted in (see our SMS Terms).
To prevent fraud and abuse, keep records, and meet legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as needed to serve you:

Service providers who work for us, such as hosting, payment processing, email and SMS delivery, and shipping carriers.
Manufacturers and distributors, to fulfill your order or a warranty claim.
Licensed installation contractors, only for projects you ask us to coordinate.
Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
A successor, if EG Solar is involved in a merger or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Text messaging: no mobile information will be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party except the providers that deliver our messages.

5. How long we keep it

Quote requests that don't become orders are kept for up to 24 months. Order and warranty records are kept as long as needed for warranty support and tax and accounting requirements, typically up to 7 years. SMS consent records are kept for as long as the law requires us to prove consent.

6. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored with access restricted to our team. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can see it.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or for a copy of it.
You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of emails by replying to tell us.
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights, including the right to appeal a decision about your request. We will not discriminate against you for using them.

8. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

We will post any changes here with a new date. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
